At Results Home Services we pride ourselves on offering the best and latest in pest control technology to all of our clients which is why we use Sentricon Always Active baiting systems.

Every house is different and you should always discuss your home's termite protection requirements with a licensed, timber pest professional before deciding on your preferred termite protection option. Our professional, qualified technicians are always happy to discuss the termite protection treatment options available and as we've been protecting Brisbane homes from termites for over 20 years you can trust we have the best advice for you and your home's termite protection.

Just this week we attended a new clients home in the Inala/Camira Brisbane area that had been attacked by termites, after applying a remedial treatment to stop the active termites chewing and eating the structural timbers, we then suggested the owners install termite protection to prevent another attack on the home.

In this case a chemical barrier wasn't a feasible option due to the build of the home so our qualified termite expert has instead recommended installing a monitoring/baiting system using the Sentricon Always Active bait stations.

Sentricon Always Active bait stations are the next generation in termite monitoring/baiting systems. Rather than using termite preferred timber as a bait and treating when the stations show termite activity (the monitoring part of the monitioring/baitting system) Sentricon Always Active use a bait that contains a insect growth inhibitor which interferes with the subterranean termite's natural molting cycle. The active constituent Hexaflumuron prevents the termites from producing chitin, a key ingredient for their hard exoskeleton and without which the termites die.

The Always Active bait also has transfer properties in that the Hexaflumuron can be transferred from the termites that ingest the bait to the rest of the attacking colony. This helps ensure greater termite control and protect your home from subterranean termites.
