If it's been a while since your last termite inspection perhaps it's time to consider contacting us to arrange one of our professional technicians to bring your termite inspection up to date. The Australian Standards recommend you have your home inspection at least 6-12 months even if you have a current termite management plan in place.
Regular termite inspections by a licensed termite inspector are essential to
ensure your home is termite free and free of any risk factors that could put your home in danger of a termite attack. Your termite inspector is on the lookout for termite activity (of course) but they're also looking for things that may be putting your home at risk like high moisture, leaking taps, timber in direct contact with soil and raised gardens beds that are too close to the home. All of these factors place your home at elevated risk of a termite attack and they compound if you have more than one at the same place/time.
It's hard to know what's OK and what's a problem which is why you contact us, the professionals. We can have a chat and tell you if that piece of timber in the garden you're really not sure about is rotting or has termites. We'll be able to tell you if you have moisture issues you need to get looked at and we'll be able to assess the general risk your home is in for a termite attack.
The Tools of the Trade...
Our tech uses the latest tools and techniques when inspecting Brisbane homes, backing up all of our inspections with the use of a thermal imaging camera and moisture meter but at the end of the day the best asset in an inspection is our technicians and their level of training and experience. They're where the true value lies but we have our thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters to confirm all their findings so you can rest assured they're giving you the right information.
Our technicians will also have the tools to offer an invasive inspection in the cases where there has been a termite attack and you are wanting to ascertain the level of damage behind a wall panel.
